Kardham Strasbourg’s teams have refurbished the 4th floor of the Octapharma pharmaceutical company building in Lingolsheim, focusing on the flexibility of the spaces and the plurality of uses in order to provide a restaurant, cafeteria and co-working space.
To complement this, our team added a number of digital features, including a projection screen which, once deployed and animated by the video projector, brings a bare wall to life. Flush-mounted in the false ceiling, the video projector is completely invisible when not in use. As for the projection screen, it blends in perfectly with the décor by rolling up inside the wooden structure of the restaurant’s benches.

“Following the refurbishment carried out by the Kardham teams to create a new inter-company restaurant (RIE), we digitalised the space. Octapharma wanted a space that could be used by employees for a variety of purposes: meeting in a dining room, transformed into a projection room for internal events (conferences and information meetings). With a view to providing integrated, unobtrusive equipment, our technical team reused an existing video projector and concealed it inside a motorised hatch in the false ceiling. The projection screen, for its part, was recessed into the furnishings to ensure that the technical elements were completely unobtrusive. The fully automated solution, which is controlled via a touch screen for ease of use, is completed by the use of a space management system.
